Advanced Computer Applications
       The only new thing we may do is create a Rotating Sunburst Effect in Flash.  We will continue to put sound on our animations - do a little reviewing - delete old work and get ready for exams which began Thursday.

Multimedia
       This week exams began (Thursday) so we will continue our work in AutoCad Inventor - do some reviewing and decide what all our exam is going to involve.  Reviewing may involve Web Pages - PowerPoint - Pie Charts and Flash......

Medical Programming
       Tomorrow we will review some of the work in Visual Basic to make sure we are ready for our exam and cover any material that we need to work on which will involve the Console Application and Creating a V.B. Interface that applies to the Assignment.....

Advanced Computer Applications
       A classes will work on space ship tutorial today in which we will put an actionscript on our spacecraft and Thursday we will work on Sound on our flash Projects.
       B classes - I will grade your Flash Animation tomorrow and we will began the Space Ship tutorial with actionscript and also Sound toward the end of the week.

Multimedia
       As we began last week we will continue our Mechanical drawings in AutoCad.  Today I will grade the drawings we began working on Friday.  We will finish those drawings today and Thursday work on Orthrographic Drawings.

Medical Programming
       We will continue to review Console and Interface programs as we need this week.  Also we will create an Interface applying conditional logic - If...Then  Statement.

Advanced Computer Applications
       Flash -  As we Continue we will do some tutorials which consist of Shining Text Masking Effect, Lightning Effect and Drawing Snowflakes. You have to pay close attention in these tutorials to keep up.

Multimedia
       Last week we created a collage, edited pictures we took in class and created a slide show movie using Picasa.  Today we will review and look at each students work....

Medical Programming
      Tomorrow we will continue to review the console application in Visual Basic by creating programs..  As we progress we will continue to create the Interface and write programs accordingly.  The next part of study will be the Human Bones.

       This week we will continue with Flash.... Beginning with creating an animation using Motion Tweens and Key Frames. Also using Layers in this animation. Next we will learn to import and trace images...

Multimedia
       Today we will start web page design - although most students in class are familiar with HTML some are not so we will work on web pages for the next week or two.

Medical Programming
       We have just finished studying the Heart and this week we will begin  study about the Digestive System. In Visual Basic Applications we will work on Variable types and Interface Face Design.

Advanced Computer Applications
      This week we hope to finish our HTML Resume Page and finish our final web page project.  The final project will be to create a web page about the students future career.  Research includes Nature of work, Work Environment, Education/Training, Job Outlook, Earnings, Related Occupations, Pictures and Links. This should be finished by Friday.

Multimedia
      We are in the final week of flash projects which we hope to finish this week.  Projects include drawing a city with a passing car with sound, cartoon fire effect, dripping faucet, filling the glass and looping banner.

Medical Programming
      Last week we finished a study of the heart, blood pressure and created Visual basic programs to reflect our study.  Case programs - If Else statements - Dim ~blank~ as Integer this week and a new medical topic.

Advanced Computer Applications
      This week as we get deeper into web page design we will work  a little more on tables to begin with.  Also we will create a Resume Web Page and have a couple more assigned projects to sharpen our skills such as a career web page.

Multimedia
      This week we are going to try and finish our Flash Animation period.  We have a few more tutorials  to do and maybe a project and then we will move on to our next stint in multimedia.

Medical Programming
      Tuesday we will have Visual Basic Test Two which covers the interface, boolean, integers and an assignment. Then we will continue our work on If and IfElse statements as we apply Medical Applications.

     HTML - Web Pages - This week we will continue with the creation and construction of web pages. Including links, tables, borders, bgcolor, inserting images and have a project for 9 week final grade.

Multimedia
     Flash Animation - create an animation with sound - create an animation from a sound such as an e-card.

Medical Programming
     This week we will work with timer controls, if and then statements and programs, boolean statements.  Visual Basic Test Two.. which we will go over in class..........

Advanced Computer Applications
      In A classes today we will create Charts in Excel and have a final Project (Moving West).  Tuesday we begin HTML web page creation and design. Beginning with the tags and page construction. Creating web pages with pictures and links.

Multimedia
       Flash action script - creating action script with our arrow keys then using that we will create a star wars spaceship battle and apply the action script to control our spaceships.


Medical Programming
       This week we will continue our study of blood pressure.  Creating V.B. programs that relate and give information about this medical area. From this we will probably look at heart disease.

       This week we will work on Microsoft Excel (computer spreadsheet).  Excel applications - create a checkbook (credit and debit) - moving West project - creating charts and graphs.

Multimedia
       As we continue to work in Flash this week we will create an animation and work on drawing manually. Inserting key frames and motion tween.  Spaceship project...........

Medical Programming
       Visual Basic - we will continue to create the interface and code and apply medical applications.  Today we will finish our Surgery programs and may look at more medical videos.  This week we will continue to create more advanced interfaces and code.

       This week we will finish our Microsoft Office Word assignments. The making of tables and importing of pictures into a letter. Next on the agenda we will begin Excel.

Multimedia
       We will finish Flash tracing drawings and begin the animation. We will draw the part then create the movement.

Medical Programming
       We will continue using the Text to become familiar with the creation of the V.B.  interface and writing of code.  The assignments in the text will probably be the first 4 to 5 chapters in the book.  Medical applications modifications to the chapter assignments.

The Week of September 7 - 10

Advanced Computer Applications
        This week we will continue our work in Microsoft Office Word.  We will continue our lessons and learn more about documents and procedures, inserting tables and adding symbols.

Medical Programming
        Flowcharts  with quiz Friday.  Visual Basic console application simple programs to get familiar with the interface.

Multimedia
        Flash - Flash - Flash  We will continue our Flash Animation tracing of characters. Cowboy, Boo, and Buzzle.

Advanced Computer Applications
      This week we will have our first vocabulary quiz in Office XP.  We will begin our first assignments in Office XP word that will cover getting started, editing skills and formatting basics.

Multimedia Media Design
       We have finished our web pages so this week we will work in Fireworks.  Design a logo and image editing.

Medical Programming
       Last Friday we began studying Flowcharts.This week we will continue our work in Fowcharts and Storyboarding.

Advanced Computer Applications

       This week we will present our Power Point projects.  Subjects will be a personnel and an informational Power Point.  The informational one will be on a educational subject or about a career.  Each should include pictures and a link.

Multimedia
      This week we will continue our Web Page Project which is on the subject of inventions which has been assigned to the students. Each student has a different subject for their web page. We will also create a personal web page and update it periodically.

Medical Programming
       Our study continues about V.B. Gaddis study about Modules, Decision Structures, Boolean Logic and Repetition Structure.  Finish covering vocabulary terms for our first test Friday.  Also begin looking and studying Flowcharts.
