Medtech Fundamentals
This week students will present research paper presentation and flash drawing about The Health Risk of Smoking which includes Secondhand Smoke -Smoking and Cancer. At least one Flash tracing or animation.
Engineering Design
This week students will work on at the beginning a Design Brief. The brief itself will be about a simple invention or improvement of something. Company, target consumer, problem/design statement and constraints included in the brief. We will present these Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday we will begin design of a gumball candy dispenser. Students will work in pairs and use a Gantt Chart, create a Design Brief and establish team norms.
Multimedia
This week students will research Energy Independence. Questions to be answered consist of How Much Oil Does The U.S. Have? Research Mass Transit and Vehicle Fuel Alternatives. We will present this by end of the week.
Medical Programming
This week we will work in Visual Basic - we will Design a program that we write text to status bar, use tooltips, create a custom icon, the system tray, use messagebox.show, input box, and creating a splash screen - this will finish tomorrow then we will work some on the Five Senses.
